A dimple is a tiny genetic quirk — one smile muscle splits in two and tugs a little dent into your cheek. Technically a "flaw." And people wanted them so badly that in 1936, Isabella Gilbert sold a wire face brace called the dimple machine (doctors: absolutely not). Today there's even surgery for it. Maybe the loveliest things about a face are the accidents. 😊
